Connected Communication Accounts

If you choose to link external accounts (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, WhatsApp), we access limited information necessary to operate those integrations.

Gmail / Outlook

• Accessed via secure OAuth authorization — you explicitly grant FlyAtlas permission.

• We only access the data required to send, receive, and display messages within your Atlas workspace.

• This may include message metadata (sender, recipient, subject, timestamp) and message content for the purpose of rendering your inbox or conversation view.

Google Limited Use Compliance

FlyAtlas’s use of information received from Gmail APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:

• We do not transfer or sell Gmail or Outlook data to third parties.

• We do not use Gmail or Outlook data for advertising or profiling.

• We do not allow humans to read your emails unless:

  1. You give explicit consent;

  2. It’s required for security, debugging, or compliance; or

  3. It’s necessary to comply with applicable law.

• Data from your email accounts is not stored or used outside of the intended in-app functionality.

WhatsApp

If you connect your WhatsApp Business account, we access and store messages and metadata necessary to display, send, and receive messages through our platform.

• Messages are end-to-end encrypted between you and your recipients.

• FlyAtlas does not use WhatsApp data for analytics, advertising, or resale.

• We comply with the WhatsApp Business Terms, WhatsApp Platform Terms, and Meta’s Developer Policies.

• You can disconnect your WhatsApp integration at any time, and your message data will be deleted from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe.

Usage Data

We automatically collect log data such as IP address, device type, browser, and feature interactions. This helps improve performance, detect issues, and enhance user experience.

Communications

When you contact us via email or chat, we collect the information you provide to assist you and improve support quality.

Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to understand user activity, maintain sessions, and optimize performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the FlyAtlas platform

• Enable and manage connected communications (email and WhatsApp)

3. Sharing Your Information

We only share your data when necessary:

FlyAtlas does not share Gmail, Outlook, or WhatsApp message content with any third party unless required by law.

Access to sensitive systems is restricted and monitored.

However, no system is completely secure; you use FlyAtlas at your own risk.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal and integration data only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with laws, or resolve disputes.

When you delete your account or disconnect integrations, we delete related data from our active systems within a reasonable period.

You may:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information

• Disconnect Gmail, Outlook, or WhatsApp at any time

Users in the UK, EU, or EEA have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to restrict processing or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Children’s Privacy

FlyAtlas is not designed for individuals under 16 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be stored or processed in countries other than your own.

We ensure appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place when transferring data internationally.

9. Messaging & Data Policy

Atlas provides communication tools that allow brokers to exchange trip updates, quotes, and confirmations with their clients via SMS and WhatsApp.

All messages sent through our platform originate from phone numbers assigned to the broker, and all communication is between the broker and their client. Atlas acts solely as a technology provider and does not contact clients directly.

• Message frequency varies based on trip activity.

• Message and data rates may apply.

• Clients may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance at any time.

Atlas does not sell, share, or rent mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Data is used only to facilitate communications between brokers and their clients and may be shared with service providers strictly for message delivery and support operations.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.

If changes are significant, we will notify you via email or in-app notice.

Continued use of FlyAtlas after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
