About this tool

A real price, before you speak to anyone.

Most private jet enquiries start with a contact form and end with a phone call two hours later. This one returns a number while you are still looking at the map. Enter a route, a date and how many people are flying, and Atlas works out which cabin classes can genuinely make the trip, then prices each one against live market data drawn from more than 13,000 aircraft across roughly 2,100 operators.

It is an estimate, not a quote. It reflects what comparable trips are transacting at right now rather than confirmed availability on a particular tail. When the number looks right, a director confirms the aircraft, the operator and the final line-item price.

How the estimate is built
  1. 01

    Plot the route

Enter the airports, dates and passenger count. Atlas computes the distance and realistic block time for each leg, including the turn time a real crew needs on the ground.

  2. 02

Filter to what can actually fly it

Your passenger count and longest leg decide which cabin classes have both the seats and the range. There is no point pricing a very light jet for eight people crossing the country, so we do not show you one.

  3. 03

Price each class as a range

Every eligible category is priced against live market data as a low, expected and high figure — the band that trips like yours are currently transacting inside, rather than a single number with false precision.

What moves a charter price

Five things decide the number.

Charter pricing looks opaque from outside, but it is mostly the same handful of variables in different proportions.

Distance and block time
The dominant term in almost every charter price. Aircraft are chartered by the hour, so the clock from brakes-off to brakes-on drives most of the figure.
Cabin class
A turboprop and an ultra-long-range jet are different businesses. Range, cabin size and fuel burn separate them by an order of magnitude on the same route.
Positioning
Where the aircraft already is. One sitting at your departure airport costs far less than one that has to fly empty across the country to reach you — which is why the same trip prices differently week to week.
Dates and lead time
Peak weekends, holidays and major events tighten supply in a region. The same route can move materially between a Tuesday and a Sunday in high season.
Airports and handling
Landing and handling fees, slot restrictions, de-icing and overnight crew costs all sit inside the final number, and vary widely between a major hub and a quiet regional field.

Common questions

Is the estimate a bookable quote?

No. It is a pricing estimate, not confirmed availability on a specific aircraft. It tells you what a trip like yours is transacting at right now. When you ask us to confirm, a director checks tail availability directly in the operators' systems and comes back with a named aircraft, the operator, its safety rating and a line-item price.

How accurate is it?

Each cabin class is priced as a range rather than a single figure, because charter pricing genuinely is a range. The same route on the same day can differ by thousands depending on which aircraft happens to be nearby and what the operator is trying to fill. The range narrows once we confirm what is actually available on your dates.

Do I need an account to get a price?

No. You can build a trip and price it without signing up. We only ask for your name, email and phone when you want a director to confirm availability and hold the pricing for you.

Who operates the flight?

Atlas is an air charter broker and technology platform. Every flight is operated by a vetted, licensed air carrier that holds its own operating certificate. Atlas sources, prices and coordinates the trip; the operator flies it.

Which specific aircraft will I fly on?

The builder recommends cabin classes rather than individual tails, because the specific aircraft depends on what is available on your dates. Your passenger count and your longest leg determine which categories have the seats and the range to do the trip. You get the named aircraft when a director confirms.

Can it price round trips and multi-leg itineraries?

Yes. The builder handles one-way, round trip and multi-leg itineraries of up to four legs. Multi-leg pricing accounts for the aircraft staying with you between legs rather than repositioning between separate bookings.

Atlas is an air charter broker and technology platform, not a direct air carrier. Flights are operated by vetted, licensed air carriers. Estimates are illustrative and do not constitute confirmed availability, a held aircraft or a binding quote.
